Direct access to the lake from your villa
Each Mäntyranta Villat villa has its own private shore. Start a summer day with a swim from your own jetty, head out onto the lake in a rowing boat, or spend the day fishing. In the evening, unwind in the sauna and, if you wish, enjoy the outdoor hot tub with lake views.
Villa Paapuuri and Villa Tyyrpuuri are located on the shores of Lake Päijänne, while Villa Paulus is set by the peaceful Lake Särsjärvi.
In winter, Padasjoki offers opportunities for cross-country skiing and other outdoor activities. When snow and ice conditions allow, the lakes also open up new ways to enjoy a winter day.

Padasjoki Harbour and Päijänne National Park
Padasjoki Harbour is one of the main gathering places in Padasjoki during the summer season. The harbour offers restaurant services and various opportunities to head out onto Lake Päijänne.
During the summer, cruises and boat transfers to Päijänne National Park also depart from the harbour. Kelvenne, with its long ridge island and sandy beaches, is a particularly popular destination for a day trip. At the harbour tourist information point operated by the municipality of Padasjoki, you can also rent equipment such as SUP boards, bicycles and other outdoor gear during the summer season. A day trip to Evo
The Evo hiking area is located around 25 kilometres from the centre of Padasjoki, so it takes about half an hour to drive there from the villas. This extensive area of forests and lakes offers trails for hiking, outdoor activities and enjoying nature throughout the year.

Villa Paapuuri and Villa Tyyrpuuri can also be booked together, giving your group two nearby villas with accommodation for up to 20 guests. This option is particularly well suited to larger corporate and group bookings.

Everyday services in the centre of Padasjoki are only a few kilometres from the villas. You will find a grocery store, pharmacy, Alko, service station and restaurant services in the village centre.
