Atmospheric villa on the shores of Lake Särsjärvi

Villa Paulus is a comfortable and stylish villa for relaxing and spending time together on the shores of Lake Särsjärvi in Padasjoki. Its private shore, large plot and surrounding pine forest create a peaceful setting for a holiday in nature, while the services of Padasjoki are still only a few kilometres away.

The 109 m² villa has three bedrooms, a spacious open-plan living room and kitchen, two toilets, as well as a utility room and dressing room. The villa accommodates up to eight guests.

The kitchen and living room offer views over Lake Särsjärvi and the surrounding pine forest. The high ceilings and open-plan living area make the villa feel spacious and bright.

Warm interiors and spacious living areas

Villa Paulus has a warm and welcoming interior with a carefully considered style. Natural tones, wood surfaces and golden details are repeated throughout the decor. The deep green kitchen takes its inspiration from the surrounding forest landscape.

The large kitchen island between the kitchen and living room brings everyone together for cooking, breakfast or a relaxed evening. The open-plan living area also features a combined fireplace and baking oven.

The three bedrooms are individually decorated in calm tones. High ceilings also add to the sense of space in the bedrooms.

Sauna, terraces and private shore

The wood-fired sauna offers gentle heat, and from the sauna you can step directly onto the terrace to cool off.

The villa has a large terrace area of approximately 55 m². The covered terrace includes a dining area for eight guests and a gas grill. A separate private terrace closer to the shore offers views over Lake Särsjärvi.

The grounds have changes in elevation, and steps lead down to the private jetty. A rowing boat is also available for guests during the summer season.

Wood-heated outdoor hot tub with lake views

A large wood-heated outdoor hot tub for approximately 6–8 guests is available to rent at Villa Paulus. It offers the chance to enjoy warm water and views over Lake Särsjärvi throughout the year.

Hot tub rental includes one fill with fresh water, firewood for heating and cleaning after use. The tub is made of acid-resistant stainless steel, making it highly hygienic.

Peace and privacy close to local services

Villa Paulus is located in a peaceful setting, while the services in the centre of Padasjoki are only around three kilometres away.

Please note that the grounds include steps and changes in elevation. In particular, access to the shore and jetty may be challenging for guests with limited mobility.

Villa Paulus is intended for peaceful holidays and time together. We do not rent the villa for party use.
