Mäntyranta Villat

Mäntyranta Villat offers high-quality lakeside villas in Padasjoki, on the shores of Lake Päijänne and Lake Särsjärvi.

We want to offer our guests a memorable holiday experience in beautiful lake scenery and make their stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. That is why it is important to us that our villas are comfortable, well equipped and easy to reach from larger urban areas.

Mäntyranta Villat includes Villa Paapuuri, Villa Paulus and Villa Tyyrpuuri. All the villas we rent are owned by us.

Rental experience since 2013

Our experience in rental operations began in 2013 with long-term residential rentals.

We acquired our first holiday villa, Villa Paapuuri, in 2020. In spring 2021, the business expanded with Villa Paulus, and Mäntyranta Villat was established. At the end of 2025, the portfolio grew again with our third property, Villa Tyyrpuuri.

Our business has grown step by step, but the basic idea has remained the same: we want to offer well-maintained villas in beautiful locations, together with personal and straightforward service for our guests.

Villas we develop ourselves

We handle most of the sales, guest communication and maintenance ourselves. This means we know our properties well and can answer our guests' questions based on first-hand experience. Cleaning is handled by a professional external cleaning company.

The villas are regularly maintained and improved. During our ownership, almost all of their furniture has been renewed, and we also pay close attention to the details of the interiors.

Where possible, we use furniture and lighting by Finnish and well-known international designers. The villas feature, for example, tables and chairs by HAY, Lokki and Kuplat lamps by Innolux, and lighting designed by Eero Aarnio. Villa Tyyrpuuri's large solid oak dining table is our own production.

Our aim is not to make the villas look the same, but to give each one its own atmosphere and character.

Mäntyranta Villat combines a convenient location and easy access with beautiful lake scenery and well-equipped villas.

We want to make your holiday as easy as possible even before you arrive. We aim to respond to enquiries promptly and provide clear information about booking, arrival and your stay well in advance.

Our villas are suitable for families, groups of friends, corporate groups and international guests. Villa Paapuuri and Villa Tyyrpuuri can also be booked together, providing accommodation for up to 20 guests.

Mäntyranta Villat is more to us than simply a collection of rental villas. We are personally involved in developing and maintaining the properties as well as in customer service, and we want every stay to live up to the impression our guests get from the villas through our website.

We also value lakeside nature, well-designed spaces and having the right setting for spending time together. Those are the same things we want to offer our guests.

When you contact us, you are not dealing with a large booking organisation, but with people who know the villas and the surrounding area personally.

Also for corporate groups

Our villas are also well suited to company meetings, team days, recreational days and small corporate events.

For larger groups, Villa Paapuuri and Villa Tyyrpuuri form a particularly practical combination: two villas located close to each other, accommodation for up to 20 guests, and the possibility to combine work, meals, outdoor activities, sauna and a relaxed evening together.

If needed, we are also happy to help with planning practical arrangements such as catering and other services.
