Villa Paapuuri is a beautiful 156 m² log villa on the shores of Lake Päijänne, close to Päijänne National Park in Padasjoki. Its spacious layout and four sleeping areas – three separate bedrooms and a comfortable sleeping alcove downstairs – provide comfortable accommodation for groups of up to 10 guests.

The open-plan living areas are spread across two floors, with a spacious sauna area and large terraces overlooking the lake. From the sauna, you can step straight down to your own private shore to cool off, while the terraces are perfect for enjoying the views over Lake Päijänne well into the evening.

Villa Paapuuri is equally well suited to a family holiday, a weekend away with friends, or celebrating special occasions and shared moments together. Here, your stay is all about privacy, nature and time together.

Comfort and amenities for your stay

Villa Paapuuri has been designed with comfort and time together in mind. The spacious living areas make it easy to relax even with a larger group, and the 75" Smart TV is ideal for both movie nights and displaying meeting materials.

The large terrace overlooking the lake is perfect for unhurried summer days and shared meals. A gas grill makes outdoor cooking easy, and dinner can be enjoyed on the terrace with views over Lake Päijänne. From the private shore, you can go for a swim, and the villa's rowing boat lets you enjoy the lake from the water as well.

A wood-heated outdoor hot tub is available to add to your stay. The hot tub accommodates around eight people and is located on the terrace with views over Lake Päijänne. The tub is made of acid-resistant stainless steel, making it exceptionally hygienic. Hot tub rental includes one fill with fresh water, firewood for heating and cleaning after use. This means the hot tub is ready for guests to heat and enjoy as part of their villa stay.

As a guest at Villa Paapuuri, you also have access to EV charging close to the villa. Mäntyranta Villat's 11 kW Type 2 charging station is located along Kiuasniementie, only a few dozen metres from the property.

Charging is started easily through the eParking app, which is also used to pay for the electricity consumed. Please note that the charging station is shared between two villas. Other simultaneous electricity use on the property may occasionally limit the maximum charging power.

The services in the centre of Padasjoki are around a 10-minute drive away. Shops, restaurants and other services are within easy reach, while Villa Paapuuri still offers the peace and privacy of your own lakeside setting.

Villa Paapuuri offers a high-quality setting for leisure stays with larger groups, as well as for celebrations and corporate events. The villa is a great choice for Easter, Midsummer, crayfish parties and Christmas, not to mention the beautiful summer season on Lake Päijänne.
